Bathroom Remodeling in Atlanta
A bathroom is a small room where everything is difficult. Waterproofing, ventilation, tile layout, and old plumbing all have to be right, and none of them show. We build bathrooms that look beautiful on day one and are still tight in year fifteen.
What we do
Bathrooms in intown Atlanta houses were mostly built for a different era. Small footprints, one vanity, a tub nobody uses, a linen closet in the wrong place, and cast-iron waste lines that have been quietly rusting since the Eisenhower administration.
We do three kinds of bathroom work. Primary suite renovations, where the goal is usually a bigger shower, two sinks, and a room that feels calm. Secondary and guest baths, where the goal is usually durability and a look that matches the rest of the house. And powder rooms, which are small enough to be genuinely fun and where a bold choice pays off.
The part we care most about is the part behind the tile. Proper slope, proper waterproofing membrane, blocking where grab bars might eventually go, and a fan that actually moves air. A gorgeous bathroom that leaks is a failed bathroom.
What a bathroom project usually includes
- Shower construction. Custom tile with a waterproofed pan, curbless entry where the framing allows, and niches sized to the bottle rather than the tile.
- Frameless glass. Templated after tile is set, so it fits your walls instead of approximately fitting them.
- Vanities and storage. Custom or semi-custom, single or double, with drawers that hold what you actually keep in there.
- Freestanding and drop-in tubs. Including the floor framing check that a filled cast-iron tub deserves.
- Plumbing relocation. Moving a toilet, adding a second sink, or converting a tub alcove to a walk-in shower.
- Heated floors and towel warmers. Worth it in a primary bath. Rarely worth it in a guest bath.
- Tile and stone. Layout drawn before anything is cut, so the pattern lands correctly at the corners.
- Lighting and ventilation. Vanity lighting that lets you see your face properly, and a fan sized to the room and ducted outside.

How it works
Bathrooms run through the same six steps as every project we take on. The step that matters most here is Planning & Permitting. Tile, vanities, and plumbing fixtures all have different lead times, and a bathroom sits idle fast when one piece is late. We identify every purchase and decision you will need to make, and when, before demolition starts.
Why homeowners hire us for bathrooms
We know what is behind the walls in old Atlanta houses.
Galvanized supply lines, cast-iron waste, undersized joists, knob-and-tube that somebody left live. We have found all of it, and we price the discovery process honestly rather than pretending it will not happen.
Fixed-price proposal.
You get a line-item price for the whole scope. Once you approve it, that is the contract price.
Three-year workmanship warranty.
Bathrooms are where a warranty actually gets tested. Ours runs three years, which is well beyond the industry norm.
A single bathroom still gets a real team.
You get the same project coordinator, the same field superintendent, and the same weekly check-ins as a whole-home project.
Bathroom remodeling FAQ
How long does a bathroom remodel take?
Most bathrooms take 4 to 8 weeks of construction. Powder rooms are faster. Anything that moves plumbing or involves structural work runs longer, and tile and vanity lead times can add weeks before we ever start.
Can I stay in my house during a bathroom remodel?
Yes, as long as you have another working bathroom. We build dust barriers, protect floors along the path in and out, and clean up daily. If the bathroom being remodeled is your only one, we will talk through the timing with you honestly.
How much does a bathroom remodel cost in Atlanta?
Powder rooms usually run $10K to $15K. Secondary and guest baths tend to fall between $25K and $50K. Most primary bathrooms land between $60K and $90K, and luxury primary suites go above that. Size, the number of fixtures, whether the layout changes, and the finish level drive nearly all of the difference.
Can you make a bathroom accessible for aging in place?
Yes. Curbless showers, wider doorways, comfort-height fixtures, blocking in the walls for future grab bars, and lever handles. Even if you do not want the hardware now, having the blocking installed while the walls are open costs almost nothing and saves a lot later.
Who is actually in my house doing the work?
Our field superintendent, plus trade partners we have worked with for years. They are not rotating crews we found last month. That continuity is a large part of why the quality is consistent.
