About Intown Renovations Group

Every homeowner eventually reaches the moment when their house no longer fits the life they are living. Maybe your growing family needs more space. Maybe you are picturing a kitchen built for gathering and cooking and making memories. Maybe you are ready to turn the house you have into the one you never want to leave. The good news is that you do not have to move. You just need the right partner.

20+ years inside the perimeter

For 20+ years, Intown Renovations Group has helped Atlanta homeowners reimagine their kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and entire homes with clarity and confidence. We have completed 1,000+ projects inside the perimeter since 2004, from spa-like bathroom retreats to dream kitchens to extravagant additions.

The reason clients choose us is not complicated. We combine craftsmanship that lasts, a contractor you can trust, and a process that makes remodeling feel remarkably stress-free.

Remodeling does not have to be chaotic. With us, it is clear, predictable, and even enjoyable, and it ends with a home you are deeply proud of.

Veteran-owned

Intown Renovations Group is veteran-owned. A lot of what we are known for, the planning discipline, the schedule that gets held to, the checklists, and the habit of telling you the hard thing early, comes from that background.

Licensed and insured

We are fully licensed and insured in the State of Georgia, holding Residential and Light Commercial Contractor license #RLCO005143. Certificates of insurance are available on request, and we carry them on every project. Every project we build is permitted and inspected.

What we value

Customer Obsession

We obsess over your dreams. From the first idea to the final walkthrough, every step reflects our commitment to your satisfaction and to building spaces of timeless quality and personal character.

Integrity

Honesty is the cornerstone of our business. We stand behind our work, we are transparent about pricing and problems, and we do what is right even when it is not easy or convenient.

Accountability

We take ownership of our projects. When we make commitments, we honor them, and we take full responsibility for delivering on what we promised. If something goes wrong, it is ours to fix.

Continuous Innovation

We are committed to improving every part of your experience. By combining traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques and better systems, we deliver homes more efficiently and more effectively than we did last year.

How we are set up

We run an in-house team supported by trade partners we have worked with for years, not crews we found last month. Every project gets a project coordinator and a field superintendent, so there is always someone who knows your job and someone who is standing in it. That structure is a big part of why the quality is consistent and why you get a straight answer when you call.

We also have an interior designer on staff, which is why our design support can flex from no fee at all to a full in-house design package without us having to hand you off to a third party. When you already have an architect or a designer, we work alongside them. A large share of our work comes to us that way, and we are glad to be the builder rather than the author of the plans.

Who you will work with

Every Intown project runs on the same four roles. You will know all of them by name before demolition starts.

Justin Collins

Owner

Justin founded Intown Renovations Group in 2004 after serving in the military, and the way the company runs still reflects it: plan the work, hold the schedule, say the hard thing early. He reviews every proposal that leaves the office and stays reachable on every project.

Interior Design

On staff, not outsourced

Our designer works in house, which is why our design support can start at a single conversation about a layout and scale all the way to a fully specified home. If you already have an architect or plans, she works alongside them rather than replacing them.

Project Coordinator

Your single point of contact

Most homeowners have never had one. The coordinator owns your schedule, your selections calendar, and your questions, so you are never chasing four different people for one answer.

Field Superintendent

On site, every day

The superintendent runs the job in the field, sets the standard our trade partners are held to, and walks the work before you ever see it. Nothing gets called finished because it looks finished.

“

IRG did a very large-scale renovation of our home. We have had many experiences with contractors over the years, and this one was the best we have had due to the professionalism and quality of work.
